Nick Taylor
My name is Nick Taylor, I live in Dunedin, NZ.
My passion is in helping people achieve their sporting goals.
Education
In 2010 I completed my Physical Education degree majoring in Sport and Exercise Science at the School of Physical Education at the University of Otago, going on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in the same field.​
Experience
I have coached alongside Matty for several years and have also spent time working with various sports and teams, including:
- Rowing head Coach + High Performance Strength Coach)
- Hockey (Fitness & Strength Coach)
- Mountain Biking (Coaching)
- Road Cycling (Coaching)
- Triathlon (Coaching)
- Running (Coaching)
I have also worked with High Performance Sport NZ as a Strength and Conditioning Intern for the Rowing High Performance program in Dunedin.
Racing Experience
After leaving team sports behind at high school I moved into Triathlon training in 2006.
I competed, several Olympic distance events before jumping into Ironman Triathlon when I was 21.
Since then I have completed both Challenge Wanaka and Ironman NZ as well as competing at the World Olympic Distance Champs in 2009.
Following this, I spent several years endurance mountain biking before finding my love of Ultra Running. I have completed 5 Ultra runs of varying distance in the past several years.
My passion is in helping people achieve their sporting goals and I look forward to working out how I can help you smash yours.
