Do you exercise and diet or train and fuel?
Training is defined as the systematic and regular participation in exercise, to enhance sports performance.
When you get into your boat are you just there to work out and burn some energy or do you have a plan that is built on a systematic framework for what you are about to do?
If you do not then you are not training, you are exercising.
What about when you go to the fridge or the cupboard are you worried about what you are eating as you do not want to get fat, you are counting calories or you feel like you have not deserved your food.
If you are then you are trapped in a 'dieting' mindset which is very negative to your performance.
This is a mindset I come across a lot with athletes of all abilities and it prevents them from reaching their full potential. Does it sound familiar?
Instead, you need to focus on TRAINING and FUELING your engine.
In the video below find out how your mindset around what you eat and your exercise is affecting your performance and what you can do about it.

If you have a burning question about your training that you want to be answered, send me a message here and I will do my best to answer it for you.
